Though a classically trained pianist, Hans Fjellestad has made a name for himself both recording experimental electronic music and making acclaimed films such as Moog (2004), his exploration of the life of synth pioneer Robert Moog. Now working on his next film, Lords of Chaos — a look at Norwegian black metal — he also curates ResBox, a unique monthly showcase of experimental music from around the world. The 2008 season ends tonight, with an extra-special lineup starring experimental noise-based futuro-classicist Lukas Ligeti.
