LBC rapper Warren G was known to spit alongside Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg before releasing his debut solo album, Regulate... G Funk Era, in 1994. Featuring the seminal track "Regulate" (the gangsta "Hotel California"), the record heralded a new era of hip-hop, fusing big bass and chilled-out synth grooves. To celebrate the release of his new record, which includes a song in support of Barack Obama called "Mr. President," the OG gives a rare performance at the Key Club tonight — hardcore regulators, represent.
