East Coast artists Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder are renowned for their spellbinding film-projection performances, and tonight they bring their latest hybrid Untitled to REDCAT. Using a pair of 16mm projectors and accompanied by sound artist Olivia Block's score, the performance comes alive through the use of glazed lenses, loops, and shadow-play — effectively proving the projector an expressive, artistic raw material rather than a mere machine emanating rays of light.
