One of many bands causing a musical renaissance in Raleigh, NC, Rosebuds might be the most eclectic of the bunch; and the band's most recent release, Life Like, could be its most diverse effort to date. While the album's title track plays like traditional indie rock, "Cape Fear" offers a few splashes of synth pop, and the multi-part harmonies and folksy acoustics of "Nice Fox" evoke former tourmates the Bowerbirds. Tonight they light up a full slate of Indie 103.1-curated indie buzz faves.
