Sludge-metal pioneers and left-coast heroes the Melvins have released more than 25 albums in about as many years. Their new LP, Nude with Boots, is the second in the Melvins' current incarnation, which features founder King Buzzo and long-time drummer Dale Crover, alongside the rhythm section from like-minded metal-heads Big Business. Expect healthy portions of the propulsive — and uncannily tuneful — new material, along with a dose of psychedelic noise from decades past.
