Collecting Contemporary: Urban Art

Tonight, Seth Carmichael of the Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art moderates Collecting Contemporary: Urban Art, a panel discussion with Shepard Fairey, Charming Baker, Jon Reiss, Cindy Cronk, and Flavorpill's own Shana Nys Dambrot. It's an opportunity for modern-art lovers to directly interact with key figures of the community while catching up on the world of collecting. Fairey, the reigning pasha of political posters, and his fellow culture pundits will mull the role of art in the run up to the by-then-concluded election as well as its prospects in the post-election landscape.

The evening also includes a cocktail reception prior to the discussion.

    Thanks to everyone who came out last night, it was a packed house and I think a great success.
