A suite of digitally collaged fantasmagorias from German artist Martin Denker, Citizenoftheplanet shows us what it would be like to see everything in the whole world at once. With influences ranging from bubblegum comics to an apprenticeship with Adreas Gursky, Denker's omnivorous curiosity urges him to absorb, process, and recapitulate a volume of sources, styles, and visual citations. The resulting tsunamis of information test the very boundaries of perception. Despite the panic-inducing density of data, Denker's unerring musicality manifests in a painterly, surreal, and magically balanced brand of psychedelia.
