The American Cinematheque's intermittent Cult Cinema Club showcases seldom-seen movies at the Egyptian's intimate Spielberg Theater. Hard to find (they're often obtained on DVD from Europe or Asia), the titles of the screenings are almost always kept a surprise, with occasional clues from the website. This evening's top-secret presentation includes a pair of late-'50s flicks by Japanese horror wizard Nobuo Nakagawa, director of the terrifying 1960 classic Jigoku. Both full-color films are supernatural-themed narratives set in feudal Japan.
