Reinventing Christmas caroling since 1992, composer Phil Kline floods the city streets with his ambient musical performances, voiced by an infinite number of boom boxes on parade. Extending an open invitation to anyone with a tape (yes, really, analog) player and some holiday spirit, Kline equips participants with separate voices via various cassettes. If you're only equipped with a digi-player and speakers, check out the Unsilent MySpace for downloads, and to hear the brass-filled sounds of Christmases past.
