Without clean water, there can be no life. Although international efforts have made some progress, great swathes of Africa still struggle to find safe sources of water. Enter Charity Water, an organization of deep conscience that raises funds to construct new wells in the neediest regions. Tonight, progressive social network Ladies Lotto hold it down on both coasts, hosting a benefit with rosters of musicians and DJs inspired by the rich musical influences of Ethiopia (with modern twists, of course), plus a juicy online auction featuring treasures of progressive music, art, literature, and urban couture.
