Meat Beat Manifesto

Since forming in Swindon in 1987, Meat Beat Manifesto have toyed with breaks, techno, industrial, dub, and everything in between, carving out a distinct (if at times divisive) niche within electronic music. Founder Jack Dangers, meanwhile, has worked with everyone from Public Enemy and David Bowie to the Bee Gees (huh?) and David Byrne, and tonight hits LA as part of a mini fall tour in support of Autoimmune, released earlier this year. MBM bring along SF/Brooklyn/Berlin resident Dub Gabriel, whose new record, Anarchy & Alchemy, works playful future-dub stylings on a grimy tip and features vocals from the likes of Jah Dan Blakkamoore, Juakali, Yo Majesty, and 77Klash.
