Nomad is a visual and creative opportunist: the multimedia artist wanders the globe making art that not only responds to the locales in which he finds himself, but is almost always made of materials on hand. Whether a piece is installation-based, wheat-pasted, painted, sculpted, or acted out, Nomad remains a subject of circumstance; for inspiration and tools, he always gives into his impulses and impressions. His new series at Found represents a literal and metaphoric homecoming, embodying the visual culture-shock of the transition from Berlin back to LA.
