Seasoned singer/songwriter Peter Case brings his down-home, finger-picked folk rock to the Getty Center this evening. Case has come a long way since his days in new wave band the Nerves, whose once-ubiquitous song "Hanging On The Telephone" was recently covered by Cat Power, to lovely effect. Case is one of Bruce Springsteen's favorite songwriters, and never fails to put on a show for the ages.
