Although Mika's voice might brand him the Man Most Likely to Fill Freddie Mercury's Platform Shoes, the Lebanese-born UK pop minstrel says he's more influenced by '60s singer/songwriter Harry Nilsson than the Queen frontman. His self-titled debut is a mega-camp sensation in England (and has a cult following stateside), but he's hinted that his upcoming sophomore release will travel in a new direction. Tonight's Wiltern performance promises Mika's hit "Grace Kelly," an 18-foot puppet, a snow machine, and the ever-evolving, ambiguous showpony himself.
