Local mope-rockers Low vs Diamond take some time off from mixing their new record for a little show at the Viper Room. Known for rapturous melodies delivered with an almost-cartoonish level of quaver-voiced, clenched-fist conviction, the quintet is signed to Marrakesh Records — the label that, unsurprisingly, signed the Killers to their first record deal. The evening's bill includes Santa Monica alt-rockers Kings Royal, playing the second week of their monthlong residency.
