Art Edges and Boundaries

Edges and Boundaries is part group show, part happening — it's hung, celebrated, and de-installed in a single day. The exhibition brings together a range of styles and media, including Lisa Adams' achingly beautiful meditations on nature, society, and fraught psychological states; Nick Agid's acrylic-on-Plexiglas abstractions that mimic organic forms; and Cherie Benner Davis' eloquent, literal-and-metaphorical mapping exercises. The show is curated by Mery Lynn McCorkle and Tom Jancar of Jancar Gallery — where, later tonight, there's also a reception for a new exhibition of angular, gestural abstractions by Marie Thiebault.
