Soul Exploration is a night of live music and DJ sets for the ears, body, and spirit, presented by ArtDontSleep, in conjunction with KCRW and SoulPeople. Neo-soul crooner Bilal channels the tones of early sweet-and-lowdown jazz into a progressive, unmistakably modern sound; he's flying in to share the bill with Afro-electronic adventurers Sa-Ra Creative Partners and soulful jammers Orgone. DJs Coleman and Al Jackson round out the lineup with a decidedly danceable selection of forward-thinking funk.
