Note: Two Feathers performs as his musical alter-ego Kent Cyclone at a closing party for this exhibition Sat March 1 (6-10pm, performance at 9pm).
Los Angeles artist Frohawk Two Feathers makes fanciful, avant-folk paintings featuring a cast of singularly imaginative characters. For his latest collection at Taylor de Cordoba, Feathers revisits issues of imperialism and focuses on the fictitious "Frenglish" Emperor Nancy and the villainous Lord William. Dynamic, large-scale paintings as well as more precious works on paper are featured in this royally surreal exhibition.
