Art David Brady: Genesis

One of Chinatown's most interesting emerging galleries, High Energy Constructs inaugurated its space with an exhibition by David Brady. Two years on, the gallery returns to its roots with Brady's second solo show, Genesis. Brady forays into the antagonisms that haunt us all, indulging his eclectic taste in media and materials to yield a multidisciplinary exhibition that runs the gamut of visual culture. Drawing inspiration from Courbet's L'Origine du monde and the abundance of Internet pornography, Brady creates decorative wallpaper that's both transgressive and humorously familiar.
