Eighties Schwarzenegger flick Commando teaches a textbook lesson about our thick-necked Governator: never underestimate his killer instinct. Just as ex-covert agent John Matrix is wasting away in nonviolent retirement, a poor-man's Pinochet kidnaps his daughter (Alyssa Milano). Charged to kill the leader of the made-up Central American country who's stolen her, the once-peaceful pachyderm is back on the prowl for risible one-liners and nonstop explosions. With easily killed guerrillas apparently growing on trees, plus a nonsensical arch-nemesis, Commando is Arnie at his bone-crunching best.
