Though the band's name sounds like something that might tumble out of Paris Hilton's mouth when asked to describe a just-opened club, the New Hotness rise above their awkward moniker with straightforward, balls-to-the-wall rock 'n roll. They're joined tonight by fellow locals the Mulhollands, whose lead singer puts solid pipes and starlet looks to good use in her band's glittery new wave pop songs.
