Traditionally, bust portraiture has been a means of honoring those with wealth, power, and status; Ben Pruskin, however, believes that such depictions should be used to honor those of personal and private significance to the artist. The recent UK transplant creates three-dimensional portraits of friends, family members, and others who are closely involved in his life. His collection of urethane-resin busts at PawnShop marks Pruskin's first solo exhibition in the States.
