Bearing a stamp of approval from Radio Free Silverlake, this new monthly rock-club night helps to secure the Scene Bar's latest bid for indie cred. This month features not only DJ sets from the chicks in charge, but a triple-threat lineup. Expect lusciously melodic, honky-tonk drum-and-guitar tales from NYC's Murder Mystery, melodramatic and catchy garage confections from LA locals the Tartans, and Oxnard-based, malcontent cabaret sweet-tarts Maria, who lay it down like the Cardigans with a chip on their shoulder.
