Los Amigos Invisibles take disco to parts unknown, combining Afro-Latin grooves, dirty bass lines, rattling timbales, hip-shaking congas, and Yazz-style organ into a singularly funky racket. Formed in Caracas, Venezuela, and later signed to David Byrne's Luaka Bop label, the traveling trovadores now get parties started all around the world. These days, they call New York City home, but for the next month, they'll be snaking their way around the country on a full US tour. Latin trip-hop conjunto Si*Sé join the Amigos on their sojourn.
