The bimonthly marriage of Filter magazine and the Hammer Museum means only one thing: a culture-packed night of dancing, art, and luscious libations. If relishing in a late-night viewing of great works of art isn't enough to engage your mind, then perhaps some moving images will: the party also screens Chicago 10, a documentary that recaps the trial of eight anti-war protesters following the ruckus of the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Spiked with the music of the '60s and featuring animated archival footage of the trial, this film by Brett Morgen will leave you spinning with political intrigue.
