Twenty years after Carnage's wildly successful premiere, the Gang revives Adam Simon and Tim Robbins' play with frightening vitality and acerbic absurdity to spare. The playwrights expose televangelism's hypocrisy and corruption, skewering the profession with the fervor of Pastor Ted Haggard at an all-you-can-eat meth 'n massages buffet. The cast's ensemble work is impeccably timed under director Beth F. Milles, and V.J. Foster steals the show as unhinged demagogue Cotton Slocum.
