Celebrated surf photographer Tom Servais comes to Venice Beach's original "green" gallery for his debut fine-art exhibition. Servais is known for his creative documentation of the most exotic and remote surf spots on the planet, as well as for his ability to translate the primary nature of motion in sport into an artistically complex visual language. For this ecological exhibition, he teams up with William Stranger — known for his organic sculptures in wood — to bind these elemental images together in a limited-edition handmade book. In addition, all the images are printed and framed with alternative materials; the environmental vivacity is sure to make a mark, without actually leaving one.
