Toronto-based experimental outfit Holy Fuck bring their array of electronic gizmos to Spaceland tonight to play a set of densely arranged yet mostly danceable electronic improvisations. They've been showered with accolades following the release of their latest album, the tersely titled LP, and were recently invited to play Rachael Ray's SXSW party (no joke!). Joining Holy Fuck are shoegazing hard rockers A Place to Bury Strangers, widely dubbed "the loudest band in New York" in blogging circles. Producing dense layers of fuzzy distortion, the Brooklyn-based trio crank up the volume for a tidily crafted, body-rattling wall of sound reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine. LA-based indie rockers In Waves start out the evening.
