The Family is an ersatz DJ collective and labor of love spearheaded by Mr. Caparro of Funky in the Middle and Sundaze — his previous Parties with a Purpose events have raised spirits, heart rates, and much-needed funds for progressive, socially engaged organizations. Family Affair's foray features local legend Marques Wyatt among a slate of uptempo, deep-house DJs and the tireless campesinos of Tree Media, the company responsible for both Leo DiCaprio's 11th Hour and the 11th Hour Action Campaign.
