Music: Rock/Pop Black Moth Super Rainbow w/ Locks

The mysterious Black Moth Super Rainbow bring a heap of analog equipment for tonight's psychedelic electro-folk show. Fond of wearing masks onstage and playing in the dark, the reclusive quintet blurs the boundary between electronic and organic, crafting gently trippy, other-worldly pop music with the help of a vocoder and a host of vintage keyboards, including a Rhodes piano and Novatron. Hailing (or at least claiming to hail) from an undisclosed location in rural western Pennsylvania, Black Moth Super Rainbow are riding a wave of critical praise from last year's Dandelion Gum. They arrive at the Knitting Factory fresh off three shows at this year's SXSW.
