Look out, eh — it's a Canadian invasion! Toronto-based partyin' bawlers Born Ruffians headline this evening's bill, having just played a slew of shows in Austin for SXSW. Joining them is fellow Canuck and former Pitchfork ink slinger Rollie Pemberton, now more widely known as Cadence Weapon; hip-hop's "Canadian Dream" just released his Afterparty Babies, crammed full of electro-shimmy and rapid-fire nerd-raps, on Anti- Records (home of Tom Waits and Neko Case). Opening the evening's shenanigans are local proggy jammers Rumspringa.
