Music: Rock/Pop The Parson Red Heads w/ the Devil Makes Three and Or, the Whale

It remains to be seen whether LA octet the Parson Red Heads still don matching white suits, but with or without the variety-show duds, they're no country mice with their Buffalo Springfield harmonies and Gram Parsons-inspired Americana soul. Openers the Devil Makes Three inject their country-bluegrass swing with raucous punk energy. And although the Devils are still celebrating the remastering and release of their first album, they're letting the Red Heads drive these days, happy making trouble in the back of the bus along with SF's own country-fried indie outfit Or, the Whale.
