Jessica Fichot lives and works in LA, but her music is the result of an international cultural heritage spanning avant-garde cabaret, French and Spanish standards, Chinese poetry, and American pop influences. Her jazzy mezzo-soprano, indie-style accordion, and relaxed backing band light up a program ranging from heartbreaking torch songs to European supper-club standards.
