Before her untimely death at the tragic age of 28, socialite, heiress, and fledgling film star Edie Sedgwick was Andy Warhol's pill-popping protégé (not to mention the Paris Hilton of her day). Bauhaus guitarist-turned-playwright David J's world-premiere musical Silver for Gold follows the troubled star's climb and descent into the debauched fast lane that was '70s Manhattan. The piece stars Monique Jenkinson (aka Fauxnique) rocking to David J's original music. Catch its first LA run before it heads to an Off Broadway venue later this year.
