Tonight, former cLOUDEAD member and Anticon guru Jonathan "Yoni" Wolf's Why? drop indie-hop science for the Natural History Museum's First Fridays series. The group — whose new album, Alopecia, is set for release next week — is joined by multimedia artist and the Blow beatsmith Jona Bechtolt's similarly danceable solo project, YACHT. As a bonus, Ale and matthewdavid of the Dublab crew spin a few records in the African Mammal Hall. Come early for a guided tour of the California History Hall and a discussion with Tufts University co-Director of the Center for Cognitive Studies Daniel C. Dennett on the ways in which cultural evolution unfolds.
