Heidi Duckler's Collage Dance Theatre first lept onto the scene in 1988 with a clever little site-specific piece in, on, and around a slew of washing machines at a Santa Monica laundromat. Twenty years later, Ms. Duckler has garnered a mantle full of awards by taking her company to unique and unlikely locales around the city and launching dances that interact with their unconventional environments. To commemorate the company's 20th anniversary, Collage revives Laundromatinee, celebrating the neighborhood clothes-cleaning fixture that in recent years has fallen prey to gentrification. Admission includes a mug o' suds to cleanse your dirty, parched soul.
