Irreverent cover kings the Dan Band first poked their heads into the limelight when they appeared as the profane wedding band in the 2003 frat-boy staple Old School, belting out an R-rated version of Bonnie Tyler's classic "Total Eclipse of the Heart." The Dan Band aim to entertain, reinterpreting famously female-performed pop songs from Mary J. Blige to Alanis Morissette with swaggering, dude-alone-in-front-of-a-mirror panache. Seattle-based cowpunks Supersuckers take the stage first and warm up the crowd with booze-fueled rockabilly.
