London-based Morcheeba have been churning out sleepy, sexy tunes since "trip-hop" was a novel genre. In this decade, the Godfrey brothers and vocalist Skye Edwards delivered four albums, including 2000's landmark Fragments of Freedom. While Edwards has left to pursue a solo career, Morcheeba live on with a bevy of guest vocalists, including Judie Tzuke, Thomas Dybdahl, rapper Cool Calm Pete, and Manda, a French singer who contacted the brothers via MySpace. Morcheeba's sixth album, Dive Deep, delivers Zero 7-style chill-outs that bubble and sway with relaxed confidence. They perform tonight alongside Argentine singer/songwriter Federico Aubele, whose blend of dub, reggae, hip-hop, tango, and experimental sounds is a genre unto itself.
