Film Indian Film Festival of LA

In terms of its ticket sales and the number of movies released, the Indian film industry is the largest in the world. The IFFLA celebrates this blossoming business with its sixth annual run. Spread across six days at the city's modern movie palace, ArcLight Hollywood, the fest rolls out over 40 Indian features, shorts, and documentaries, plus over 50 filmmaker Q&A sessions. The opening night's gala selection, Amal, is the award-winning directorial debut of Richie Mehta and follows the story of an eccentric tycoon wandering New Delhi in disguise. All films are shown with English subtitles.
