Music: DJ Afro Funke' feat. DJ Pelau

For this week's edition of Afro Funke', Marlon Regis (aka DJ Pelau) joins residents Cary Sullivan, KCRW's Jeremy Sole, and reggae star and international social activist Rocky Dawuni for a late-night bricolage of Afrobeat, Latin, funk, and reggae. Like fellow Trinidad & Tobago countryman Timmy Regisford, Pelau favors percussion-heavy, uptempo house beats with a hint of hot and spicy.
