Japanese artist Yumiko Kayukawa's work is a fine example of what happens when East meets West. In Kayukawa's world, young women are erotic, sought-after creatures in fantastical, often dangerous situations. The artist's aesthetic is part modern graphic illustration and part old-fashioned meticulous painting.
