Art Ryan McLennan: From Fur to Bone

While Ryan McLennan's Audubon-inspired drawings of woodland animals seem innocent enough, the graphite-and-acrylic works on paper reveal the animal kingdom's vicious side. In his latest series of drawings, moose, raccoons, deer, and other wildlife interact, and a recurring bear figure made of ephemeral materials from the forest floor recalls disappearing natural resources.
