May 10, 2008 – May 31, 2008
Tuesdays–Saturdays (11am–6pm)
The Scion Installation Space in Culver City has lined its walls with works by the heavyweights of urban romanticism — including Sage Vaughn, Mel Kadel, Travis Millard, and Andrew Pommier — in support of Art From Scrap, an organization that encourages environmentally conscious art projects for children. In addition to displaying the compelling photographs, paintings, and illustrations, the gallery also holds an auction on Sunday, June 1 (the last day of the exhibition), with all proceeds benefiting the Santa Barbara-based educational organization. If you can't make it in the flesh, visit the Scion website for online bidding information.
