Art Terence Koh: The Whole Family

Anyone who can sell his own bodily fluids for thousands of dollars on the art market has "made it" as an artist. Of course, there's more to former "asianpunkboy" Terence Koh, but the point is, he's somebody who can do (and has done) just that. In celebration of his five years with Peres Projects, Koh has re-installed his 2003 piece The Whole Family. The all-white installation (Koh nearly always works in black or white) seems to imply virginal purity — although, given the artist's history, it could appear slathered in something else. Unlike his palette, Koh's intention is never so black and white.
