The well-coiffed young men of Saint Motel hit the Viper Room for the inauguration of their biweekly, Indie 103.1-sponsored residency. Aside from sporting those noteworthy 'dos, Saint Motel lead the show with high-energy, melodic, Spoon-esque pop. Having met in film school, the bandmates attribute their songs to a shared love of cinema, substituting narrative arcs for bridges and choruses. The local-leaning lineup is rounded out by the gravel-voiced chug of the Ringers and Cold War Kids-alikes Satisfaction.
