Music: Rock/Pop Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players w/ Sounds of Asteroth

It's a family affair with the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, a self-proclaimed indie-vaudeville-conceptual-art-rock-slideshow band featuring Mom (Tina Piña), Dad (Jason), and teenaged daughter (Rachel). The NYC-by-way-of-Seattle trio tours constantly, having garnered heaps of adoring fans since becoming the first unsigned act to play on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2003 — back when little Rachel could just barely reach her drum kit. They've since landed at Bar/None Records, played at Bonnaroo, and toured with They Might Be Giants and Kate Nash. Tonight, the Trachtenburgs headline Silverlake's El Cid alongside the dance-y experimentalists Sounds of Asteroth.
