Music: Rock/Pop The Dan Band

The Dan Band are best known for their F-bomb-strewn cover of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in the Will Ferrell vehicle Old School. But Dan Finnerty and his bandmates have continued to expand their catalog of covers, showing a special preference for lady-sung originals like Kelis' "Milkshake." Fans have flocked to the LA-based trio's shows to the point that Steven Spielberg — yes, that Steven Spielberg — produced their concert special (Dan Finnerty & the Dan Band: I Am Woman). The Dan Band hit the House of Blues tonight, with recent covers of Salt-n-Pepa's "Shoop" and Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" in tow.
