Including comic-book writers, fashion photographers, and magazine illustrators, the eclectic collection of emerging artists at the Grind Gallery may be under the radar, but most likely not for long. This show features a mixed-media bonanza of up-and-coming artists, including Sean Ford, creator of the newly-released comic book series Only Skin, whose original drawings are colored by a quirky, morbid sense of humor. Also featured is Rebecca Hahn, a former product designer for Walt Disney who escaped the Mouse to focus on producing sharp, but equally enchanting images as a magazine illustrator, assemblage artist, and card designer.
