DCA's Live Draw! invites purists and party-people alike to celebrate figure painting — one of the art's oldest traditions — with a contemporary cocktail party. As an audience looks on, eight artists draw from nude models in a generous range of interpretations, styles, and poses. The brand-new works are then sold at a reasonable price, facilitating exchange between artist, viewer, and patron. The night comes complete with drinks, tapas, and beats from DJ S.I.M.O.
