Humboldt County can claim a few notable contributions to entertainment, but a music scene isn't at the top of the list — all the same, filmmaker Jensen Rufe documented the indie music germinating in the half-baked region in his 2006 film Rural Rock & Roll. The twin-sister-fronted sunflower-pop troupe the Ian Fays were one of the bands featured in Rufe's film, and they're one of four bands featured this evening as part of the Vegas Bus Tour, on its penultimate stop at the Scene Bar. Fellow NorCal troubadours the Broken Hearts also take the stage tonight, along with LA rockers Barrio Tiger and Static Static.
